Job Responsibilities:
Greeting Visitors: Welcome children, parents, and caregivers as they arrive, creating a friendly and inviting atmosphere.
Check-In and Registration: Handle the check-in process for visitors, including registering new members and managing daily admissions.
Information Provider: Answer questions about playground policies, rules, scheduled activities, and special events.
Communication: Relay important information to staff regarding visitor needs or concerns, and communicate any announcements to guests.
Payment Processing: Manage payments for admissions, memberships, or special events, and handle cash or credit transactions.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of visitor attendance, memberships, and any incidents that occur on-site.
Safety Oversight: Monitor the playground area to ensure safety protocols are being followed and assist in reporting any maintenance needs.
Customer Service: Address concerns or complaints from parents or caregivers in a professional and empathetic manner.
Coordination of Events: Assist in organizing and promoting events or activities, including managing RSVPs or registrations.
Cleanliness: Help maintain a tidy reception area and ensure that informational materials are stocked and organized.
Job Requirements and Skills:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; some positions may prefer additional coursework or experience in hospitality or customer service.
Experience: Previous experience in a receptionist, customer service, or administrative role, especially in a childcare or recreational setting, is often preferred.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities to effectively interact with children and parents.
