HVAC Draftsman Position Available
HVAC Draftsman now required to work with a $100m plus manufacturing business based in RAK with a focus on EPC projects within the Energy, Petrochem, Oil and Gas, Steel Fabrication, and Modular sector. This position will be based in RAK or Sharjah, UAE.
The HVAC Draftsman is responsible for:
Preparing detailed technical drawings and schematics of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems.
Collaborating with engineers and construction teams to ensure that HVAC designs meet project specifications and building codes.
Reviewing project requirements and preparation of HVAC/MEP Drawings (2D/3D as necessary) for various types of projects executed by the company.
Preparing and aiding in creating drawings such as Duct layouts, HVAC Layouts, Airflow Diagrams, D&ID Drawings, Bill of Materials, etc. as required for the projects undertaken by the company.
Preparing drawings and presenting ideas for the discipline engineers for review.
Using CAD/REVIT/SOLIDWORKS software to produce HVAC/MEP plans, sections, elevations, and details, ensuring that all layouts are compliant with the latest industry standards and in line with project specifications.
Verifying the constructability of designs and ensuring that there are no clashes with other services within the installation.
Conducting site visits during various construction stages and preparing RED LINE mark-ups.
Working with the Estimation Proposal Team for the preparation of Building Layouts 2D/3D models as required for bidding.
For the HVAC Draftsman role, we can accommodate candidates with Civil MEP experience, provided you have strong knowledge of HVAC concepts and proficiency in relevant drafting software.
Salary: circa 9k AED all inclusive.
Note: Open to outside of the UAE applications, visa expenses will be covered by this company.
