The Hygiene & Safety Coordinator is responsible for handling the Food Safety and Environmental Health and Safety in the Hotel and Layaly Saraya Restaurant.

The Hygiene & Safety Coordinator will work together with the F&B Manager and Executive Chef in coordinating all departmental activities, thus ensuring that all standards are implemented and maintained.

- Implements/ maintains HACCP, Food Safety and Personal Hygiene Standards

- Writes food safety management system manual and standard food safety procedures as per local and internal guidelines

- Implements systems and conducting regular checks to ensure food handlers are adhering to good food and personal hygiene practices, during food preparation.

- Carries out internal Food Hygiene Audits in all food preparation rooms.

- Develops, implements, reviews, and updates the food safety management system procedures, in accordance with local regulations and international standards.

- Trains food handlers in Essential Food safety as per local authority standards.

- Manages day to day activities of Food Safety and maintains Hygiene records, appropriately.

- Monitors and verifies that food is received, handled, prepared, stored, transported and served always in a satisfactory manner, in accordance with the Food Safety & HACCP Rules & Regulations.

- Conducts supplier audits to approve food suppliers

- Guides the internal HACCP auditors to perform inter departmental audit.

- Provides awareness training in HACCP for all food handlers

- Makes food safety and HACCP training plans for food handlers in coordination with the F&B Manager and Executive Chef.

- Investigates food safety complaints, and reports to the F&B Manager and Exeucitve Chef accordingly.

- Audits all food preparation areas and reports findings and liaise with the concerned departments on consistent preventive / corrective actions.

- Maintains Environment Health and Safety standards in the hotel as per local guidelines.

- Assesses hazards and conducting risk assessment on health and safety as per local authority standards.

- Liaises inspections and statutory requirements from the relevant Government Authorities, and External Auditors of food safety system

- Provides and implements strict guidance for food and beverage and kitchen in handling food hygiene complaints from guest

- Demonstrates service attributes in accordance with industry expectations and company standards.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract

Contract length: 24 months

**Salary**: From QAR3,000.00 per month
