Job Overview:

**Responsibilities**:

1. Event Production and Coordination:

- Collaborate with event planners and managers to understand production requirements and execute events seamlessly.

- Oversee the setup, operation, and teardown of event equipment, ensuring everything runs smoothly and according to plan.

- Manage on-site logistics, including vendor coordination, technical setup, and troubleshooting.

2. Technical Expertise:

- Interpret and utilize technical drawings, schematics, and specifications to guide production and setup activities.

- Coordinate with technical teams to ensure accurate implementation of designs and layouts.

- Troubleshoot technical issues that may arise during event setup and operations.

3. Procurement and Inventory Management:

- Source, select, and procure event-related materials, equipment, and supplies.

- Negotiate with suppliers to ensure favorable terms and pricing.

- Maintain an organized inventory of event assets and supplies, optimizing utilization and minimizing waste.

4. Production Planning:

- Develop comprehensive production plans that consider all aspects of event execution, including technical requirements, manpower, and materials.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on production timelines and deliverables.

5. Quality Control:

- Ensure the quality and functionality of event equipment and setups.

- Conduct pre-event checks and inspections to identify and address any issues.

6. Health and Safety Compliance:

- Adhere to health and safety protocols and regulations during event setup and operations.

- Implement measures to mitigate risks and ensure a safe event environment.

7. Team Leadership and Training:

- Supervise production teams during setup, operation, and teardown.

- Provide guidance, training, and support to team members to enhance their skills and performance.

8. Budget Management:

- Monitor and manage production budgets, ensuring expenses stay within approved limits.

- Identify cost-effective solutions and alternatives without compromising quality.

9. Documentation and Reporting:

- Maintain accurate records of production activities, including equipment usage, technical details, and expenses.

- Generate post-event reports and analysis for continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Production Management, Technical Theater, or a related field.

- Proven experience as a Production Officer in events management, with a demonstrated track record of successful event execution.

- Technical expertise in interpreting and utilizing drawings, schematics, and specifications for production purposes.

- Background in procurement and inventory management.

- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

- Proficiency in event production software and tools.

- Excellent communication and leadership skills.

- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

- Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, during events.

**Job Type**: Contract

Contract length: 8 months
