They will work closely with business analysts and users coordinate with project development team, setting and managing project delivery expectations. The candidate will have a strong background in .Net programming, DevOps, and SCRUM methodology. Knowledge of LNG trading and ETRM implementation or any other relative trading solution experience is beneficial.PART 3 - JOB RESPONSIBILITIESDevelop bespoke software solutions using .Net C#, SQL Server, and associated technologies. Guide the Development team and ensure coding standards met by all developers. Breaking down technical specification into its simplest elements and translating this logic into codeEnsure solution is in line with approved architecture.Distributing development work and day to day management of developersDevelop bespoke software solutions using .Net C#, SQL Server and associated technologies centred around our ETRM trading platforms. Chasing down point detail issues on requirements, brokering decisions and achieving consensusSupport the creation of a test strategies/cases and execute these.Supporting decision-making around the phased delivery of the solutionAssist with change management activities including benefits realisation planning, training and communications.Assist with estimating level of effort involved in future phases.Work autonomously and within a team to deliver technology enabled business change.Evaluating and improvement of system performanceAdapting the program to new requirements, as necessarySupporting user acceptance testing to ensure the program works to specification and can be used easily, quickly and accuratelyWriting detailed documentation for the operation of the program by users and computer operatorsHanding over solutions to application supportUpdating, repairing, modifying and developing existing software and generic applicationsPART 4 - QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTSEDUCATION/ QUALIFICATIONS Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field preferredSKILLS, EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCIES.Net Framework and .Net C#SQL ServerExperience in agile development methodologiesExperience with Containerisation, Kubernetes is beneficialWorked in autonomously and in medium to large teamsUnderstanding of small organisationsUnderstanding of energy and commodity trading especially LNG is beneficial.Ideally (but not mandatory) expertise with Planlogic EoS.Any Exposure to shipping management , key Trading, Risk, and product control processes is beneficialExperience of articulating the design to development components is essential They should be able to quickly adapt to and manage the changing priorities of the business and be able to manage business expectationsThis job description does not form part of your contract of employment and as per clause 4.2 of your contract of employment the Employee's job title and/or job description does not limit or define what s/he may be required to do, and the Employer reserves the right at any time to require the Employee to undertake duties falling in his/her capabilities and/or to transfer the Employee to other roles and duties, whether on a temporary or permanent basis.
