Join our Buildings Team as our new Senior (or Principal dependant on experience) Microstation Technician / BIM Lead and work with us to close the gap to a sustainable future.Your new roleAs our new Microstation Technician / BIM Lead, you will be part of a highly dynamic, 300-strong, multi-disciplinary buildings practice contributing to and leading the modelling for some of the industry's most innovative and sustainable building projects across the UK. You will play a vital role in shaping project success through effective modelling, coordination, and mentorship, promoting and encouraging collaboration between the Engineering teams and our external collaborators, to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and with the highest quality standards.Your key responsibilities will be:Oversee the production and coordination of BIM models primarily relating to Rail and Infrastructure Buildings projects, using Microstation OBD.Develop and implement BIM practices utilising the latest digital techniques, ensuring the Team keeps pace with and strives to improve on current industry standards.Assist the Sector Leader in developing a digital strategy with short, medium and long term targets.Mentor and guide junior team members, enhancing their skill knowledge and Microstation practices as well as ensuring compliance with BIM standards by encouraging high quality outputs.Your new teamYou will be part of Buildings Structural Engineering Team based in one of our UK offices. You will work on a variety of projects with our engineering teams nationally and with the opportunity to work on both national and international projects. We work closely with our Transport Market colleagues and there will be opportunity to work on major infrastructure projects. You will join one of our 7 structural teams to suit your location, Birmingham, Bristol, Cambridge, Chester, London, Manchester, Southampton.
