Quantity Surveyor

Headcount Solutions is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to support a leading Utilities and Energy provider across a wide range of civil & electrical engineering projects such as Trenching and Ducting works, Overhead lines, High-Voltage Electrical Substations construction and refurbishment including both electrical and civil works. Key Responsibilities The responsibilities of the role include: Leading the cost management function throughout all project stages. Processing of Contractor payments and assisting in Contract Administration. Preparation of Framework Tender documents. Co-ordinating Contractor Pre-qualification evaluations. Undertaking Commercial site audits. Carrying out analysis on historic projects and preparing cost estimates. Forecasting and monitoring of OPEX & CAPEX programs. Knowledge, Skills and Experience The successful candidate will possess the following experience/qualifications: Level 8 Degree in Quantity Surveying. 5-7 years post qualification experience. Experience in Civil Engineering / Utility projects. Experience with SAP and experience in SharePoint. Full Drivers licence and access to car is essential.
