Job Objective

They will be responsible for managing procurement, inventory, and distribution of medical supplies, pharmaceuticals, feed, and equipment at our hospital. The job entails that the candidate ensures availability of essential items, maintains inventory levels, controls costs, and supports efficient hospital operations.

Primary Roles and Responsibilities

Inventory Management: Track and manage inventory levels, conduct audits, and maintain control systems.
Procurement: Source suppliers, negotiate terms, and place orders based on hospital needs.
Logistics Coordination: Oversee receiving, storage, and distribution of supplies, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze inventory data, forecast demand, and prepare reports on inventory and costs.
Compliance and Quality Control: Ensure all supplies meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Cost Management: Monitor budget, identify cost-saving opportunities.
Collaboration and Communication: Work with veterinary staff and suppliers to meet supply needs.

Required Education

- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field. - Certification in supply chain management preferred.

Required Years of Experience

At least 2 years’ experience in a related field.

Soft Skills

Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Competencies
