Profile Middle East is a service provider with more than 20 years of experience in the market which specializes in Technical Field and HR Consultancy Services in the Industrial Sector (Oil & Gas, Engineering, Construction, Commissioning) with our focus on the Middle East region and a worldwide presence.For our own projects, we are looking for:PROJECT MANAGER (PHOTOVOLTAIC PLANTS)Ref code: CR_2406-161_Project Manager (Photovoltaic Plants)Job summaryMISSION:The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering and project management, with a focus on solar PV plants, and will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of the project in compliance with all contractual obligations.TASKS:Develop and maintain the Project Management Plan and Implementation Schedule.Plan, direct, and oversee all activities to ensure compliance with the Consultant's obligations to the Client.Review contract documents and assist the Client in reviewing the detailed design proposed by the Contractors.Supervise Contractors during supply, installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of the plants and grid connections.Supervise the construction phase, ensuring that all activities are performed in accordance with the project schedule and specifications.Oversee the operation and maintenance phase, providing part-time supervision and support as needed.Anticipate issues, manage risks, and resolve conflicts effectively.Ensure that all project risks are identified, assessed, and mitigated.Act as the link between the Client's Project Management Office and the off-site team.Coordinate the off-site teams' works and visits.Coordinate the local Construction Supervision Team and the overall project management team.Strengthen the capacity of WAPDA for preparation, supervision, and operation and maintenance of the floating solar plants.EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:MSc in Engineering or MS in Project Management from a reputed international university. BSc in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering as basic education.15+ years of relevant professional experience in planning, managing, and supervising works related to the design and construction of power plants, preferably solar PV.Experience as an engineer's or contractor's Project Manager in at least two commissioned ground-mounted and/or floating-solar projects, each of at least 50 MW.Experience in managing and supervising international supply and installation contracts.Experience in the region (MENA and South Asia) is highly appreciated, including working knowledge of local languages, culture, administrative systems, and government organizations.Fluent level of written and spoken English.OTHER DETAILS:Job Location: Pakistan;Contract Duration: 4 years (2 years Construction phase + 2 years O&M phase):Starting date: July 2024.Profile Middle East upholds workplace equality and diversity, assessing candidates solely on merit and potential.#J-18808-Ljbffr
