Project Managers support multiple integrated products that include Power Amplifiers, Switches, Filters, SiP's and Automotive Programs. Our PMs lead multiple cross-functional development teams incorporating and coordinating people from multiple Engineering and operational teams. The team goal is to meet customer specification compliance, cost targets, critical milestones, and prototype delivery schedules. You will develop detailed project schedules and present project-critical updates to Skyworks Management with regards to status, issues and actions.Our Project Managers also develop innovative solutions to address priorities and conflicts with other programs to ensure the schedule is met. You will help to ensure effective communication between technical and non-technical functions. This key individual coordinates schedules, manages risk, monitors budgets and assigns tasks while managing multiple program priorities. You understand the importance of keeping management informed of key issues and changes which may impact expected business results. Project Managers analyze overall projects to identify potential roadblocks and strategize to align with business goals, deadlines and resource coordination to ensure we achieve focused results.Responsibilities:Chairing weekly development team meetings across a multi-functional groupSupporting material procurement and prototyping of samples - extensive list of BOM components which requires careful consideration, budgeting, planning, and timely follow upResolving technical issues to ensure product compliance / robustness against specs (customer & internal)Driving critical path schedule tasks and risk mitigation plansSupporting customer interaction alongside Product Line Management, Marketing, Customer Quality, etc.Compliance to our product development process through internal / external auditsPresentations to senior management and other functional leads within the BU / Operations / QualityDemonstrated track record of product developmentFlexible approach and ability to influence and motivate othersRequirements:BSEE, MSEE, MBA, or other related technical education BS in a technical discipline preferred with 6 to 8 years of experience in project management or product engineering in the semiconductor industryExcellent communication skills, organizational skills, and strong retention skills for critical informationDemonstrated leadership skills specifically working in a matrixed organizationTeam Player with a passion to win/contribute and have a results-focused attitude and approach to the positionAbility to collaborate with other team members to establish efficient systems of operation.Strong knowledge of Microsoft Project S/W (Scheduling Skills) and MS PowerPoint (Presentation Skills)Knowledge of Power BI, SAP, Planview PPM Pro or Oracle's Agile PLM software is a plusThe typical base pay range for this role is currently CAD $97,300 - $165,900 per year. Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, and the ultimate job duties and requirements.
