Project Management:Coordinate discipline review and approval of design and interfaces with Contractor/Vendor on Company requirements and specifications.Review and approve all related technical documents and coordinate with supervisor.Review and advise on layouts, site preparation, foundations, buildings, structural platforms, pipeline support system, etc. during technical evaluation stage of bidders' proposals to assess technical capability and ensure compliance with project specifications.Ensure projects' civil engineering design and engineering activities are executed according to specification, within budget, with the contract scope of work and meets time schedules.Coordinate and provide engineering support for construction activities, including the assurance that engineering details required for construction are provided.Review and approve modifications and as-built documents.Design & Engineering:Conduct site verification and data collection of existing and new facilities as part of study preparation.Carry out the design and technical reviews for all areas of work such as land surveying, geo-technical and site investigation, roads, buildings, drainage systems, and retaining walls, etc.Execute verification, studies, and detail design following best engineering practices and optimization in terms of cost, construction simplicity, operability and maintainability, HSSE, etc.Consult with representatives of Process, Construction, Maintenance, Inspection, Operation, Reliability, etc. to ensure that designs meet the objectives.Prepare design specifications for reinforced concrete, buildings, earthworks, roads, and underground networks, piling works, etc.Develop calculations for reinforced concrete structures, pipe racks, pipe bridges, equipment & machine foundations, piling works, and drain collection systems, etc.Develop functional and drain/collection system (water, sewage, oil, etc.) layouts.Prepare supply and services purchase specifications.Develop studies for equipment foundations and concrete structures.Prepare MTOs and BOQs.Prepare Scope of Work and technical specification for civil construction subcontracts.Prepare technical documentation for civil material requisition.Carry out technical evaluations.Preparation of civil substructure/superstructure design, constructive drawings of buildings, plot plans and foundation drawings.Health, Safety, Security, Environment and Quality:Ensure compliance to all relevant health, safety, security, environmental and quality management procedures.Work closely with HSSE on related tasks.Ensure updating documentations related to modifications (projects).Participate in modifications (projects) risk assessments such as HAZOP, etc.Reports:Provide regular progress reports related to assigned modifications (projects).Preparation of specific reports upon request.Internal and External Communications:Internal:Project team, Requester (project owner), Inventory, Procurement, and other relevant parties.External:Contractors, Vendors/Suppliers, Consultants, and Service Providers.Desired Candidate Profile:Bachelor's degree in Civil Structural Engineering.12 years of experience in design/engineering in the field of Oil and Gas/Petrochemical industry.In-depth knowledge of discipline design/engineering with wide experience in multi-discipline areas.Knowledge of civil/structural design/engineering.Familiar with Industrial/International Codes and Standards: BS, UBC, IBC, AISC, API, ACI, ASCE, etc.Experience with civil/structural software such as: StaadPro, Sap 2000, Etabs, Safe, Autocad, etc.Preparation of civil/structural calculations and detail design/shop drawings for different tasks.Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.Project Management and time management skills.Ability to work independently most of the time and/or as part of an integrated project.Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.Decision making and problem-solving skills.Good IT/MS Office knowledge.Familiar with the SAP system.Education:Bachelor of Technology/Engineering (Civil)Gender:Not MentionedNationality:Any Nationality#J-18808-Ljbffr
