**Job Overview**:
The Associate Assurance Specialist assist & support the senior assurance specialist's effort in ensuring compliance of project quality assurance during engineering and procurement execution including supplier provided products/services to the requirements of the contract. Liaise with Principal Quality Ops Specialists, Vendor Inspection Coordinator, Senior Quality Inspectors, Quality Inspectors, Lead Package Engineers, and QAQC Functional leads
**Key Tasks and Responsibilities**:
- Involved in the preparation of project specific quality assurance procedures like audits and non-conformances, vendor inspection requirements etc. based on contract requirements
- Assist in reviewing material specifications, datasheets, inspection and test requirements, material and inspection critically rating, material requisition, vendor offers, technical bid evaluations and purchase requisitions / subcontracts to ensure project specific requirements are identified/complied.
- Participates in the bid clarification meetings with vendors to resolve QA/QC related queries during TBE phase Assist package engineers and provided inputs to material criticality rating, inspection level and inspection and test requirements (ITRs) for procurement packages
- Prepare, track and close commodity / Equipment specific lessons learnt (liaise with manufacturer & Vendor inspector), capture and register lessons from ongoing engineering and procurement activities.
- Ensure completenessj correctness and review of supplier deliverables such as quality plan, ITP's, weld procedures, NDE, heat treatment, and painting procedures against project specific requirements.
- Assist senior assurance specialists in coordinating for vendor/supp/ier readiness reviews, KOM, PIM's, review / assessment of vendor/supplier inspectors' performance.
- Assist senior assurance specialists in giving project specific Quality indoctrination on project requirements and Latest Client specificationsj International codes and standards to Engineering and Procurement teams.
- Assist in the administration of the vendor inspection process through the assigned vendor inspection coordinator.
- Work closely with and assist vendor inspection coordinators and vendor inspectors on inspection requirements. Assist senior assurance specialists in tracking and controlling the Inspection visits and budgets.
- Review and provide recommendations on supplier concessions, technical queries and coordinate with package managers and package engineers on quality related queries.
- Assist in reviewing supplier inspection reports (SIRS), Inspection Data Records and Manufacturer Data Records.
- Administration of project specific audit schedule and non-conformance / corrective action register status reporting. Participation and conducting internal project audits, supplier pre-qualification and surveillance audits in accordance with the approved project audit schedule.
- Suppo/t in preparation of audit report and audit records
- To assist for preparing the project management review meeting report, participate, and prepare MOM and follow-up for actions raised.
**Essential Qualifications and Education**:
- Engineering Degree in Mechanical/Electrical and Instrumentation /Civil or Diploma with additional 3 years exp.
- 4+ years of relevant experience in Engineering, Procurement Quality Assurance, Materials.
**Preferred Qualifications and Education**:
- Knowledge in Metallurgy, Welding Inspection; Completion of Entry Level (Graduate Engineer Trainee -3 yrs) Internal Auditor— ISO 9001 (QMS) -IRCA approved training or equivalent.
- Possess basic knowledge and exposure to international codes and material standards
