ELV Pre-Sales Engineer - CCTV SpecialistJob Title: ELV Pre-Sales Engineer - CCTV SpecialistLocation: City Tower- West bayJob Type: Full-timeDepartment: Pre-Sales / EngineeringReports to: Operations Manager and Director.Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated ELV (Extra-Low Voltage) Pre-Sales Engineer with a specialization in CCTV systems. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the sales team by providing expert technical knowledge, designing tailored CCTV solutions, and ensuring that proposed solutions meet client requirements. The role involves a combination of technical expertise, customer interaction, and project management skills.Key Responsibilities:Technical Consultation:Work closely with the team to understand client requirements and provide expert advice on CCTV systems and related ELV solutions.Conduct site surveys to assess the technical needs and challenges of clients' environments.Solution Design:Design comprehensive CCTV solutions, including camera placement, system architecture, network design, and integration with other ELV systems.Prepare detailed technical proposals, including system diagrams, bill of materials (BOM), and cost estimates.Ensure that designs comply with relevant standards and regulations.Client Engagement:Deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations to clients, showcasing the benefits and features of the proposed CCTV solutions.Address client inquiries, concerns, and technical challenges, providing clear and effective solutions.Collaborate with clients to refine solutions based on feedback and evolving requirements.OEM/Supplier/Distributor Engagement:Shall have excellent relationship with ELV system manufacturers and able to secure top level technical support from OEM's.Shall be able to get the best prices and payment terms from suppliers / distributors and lock new projects with OEM's for the company.Documentation and Reporting:Create and maintain detailed project documentation, including technical specifications, scope of work, and installation guidelines.Prepare and present technical reports, RFP responses, and other documentation as required.Project Support:Assist the project management and implementation teams during the deployment phase, ensuring that the designed solutions are accurately implemented.Provide technical support and troubleshooting expertise during the installation and commissioning phases.Stay updated on the latest advancements in CCTV technology, industry trends, and relevant regulations.Qualifications and Skills:Education:Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, or a related field.A fluent Arabic speaker is a big plus.Experience:Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a pre-sales engineering role, with a strong focus on CCTV systems and ELV solutions.Proven track record of designing and implementing successful CCTV solutions for commercial or industrial clients.Technical Skills:Deep understanding of CCTV systems, including IP cameras, NVRs, video analytics, network infrastructure, and integration with other ELV systems.Proficiency in using CAD software and other design tools for creating technical drawings and system layouts.Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to CCTV and ELV systems.Soft Skills:Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Certifications:Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or CCTV manufacturer certifications (e.g., Hikvision, Milestone, Axis) are highly desirable.Application Process:Interested candidates should submit their resume, a cover letter detailing their experience, and qualifications related to the role, and any relevant certifications.
