Interpreting Blueprints:

Read and interpret construction blueprints and drawings.

Material Selection:

Select appropriate materials for the job based on project specifications.

Measuring and Cutting:

Accurately measure and cut materials using hand tools or power tools.

Installation:

Install structures and fixtures such as windows, doors, cabinets, and molding.

Framing:

Frame structures using wood or other materials according to project requirements.

Finishing:

Apply finishes to wood surfaces, such as paint, varnish, or stain.

Repair and Restoration:

Repair or replace damaged components in existing structures.

Restore or replicate historical woodwork when required.

Backdrop Making:

Construct and install arches, stands.

Roofing and Siding:

Install roofing materials and siding on buildings.

Flooring:

Install various types of flooring, such as hardwood, laminate, or tile.

Concrete Formwork:

Build forms for pouring concrete and assist in concrete work.

Safety Compliance:

Follow safety guidelines and use personal protective equipment.

Ensure a safe work environment for oneself and colleagues.

Tool Maintenance:

Maintain and care for tools, ensuring they are in good working condition.

Communication:

Communicate with project managers, supervisors, and other construction professionals.

Follow instructions and provide progress updates as needed.

Problem-Solving:

Address any unexpected issues or changes during the setup process.

Find creative solutions to challenges that may arise.

Adherence to Codes:

Ensure that all work meets local building codes and regulations.

Design Development:

Develop creative and visually appealing decoration concepts in line with the client's preferences and the overall wedding theme.

Create mood boards or visual presentations to illustrate design ideas.

Decoration Setup:

Coordinate the setup and installation of decorations at the wedding venue.

Oversee the placement of floral arrangements, backdrops, lighting, and other decorative elements.

Collaboration with Vendors:

Coordinate with other wedding vendors, such as event planners, caterers, and venue staff, to ensure a cohesive overall design.

Logistics and coordination:

Plan and coordinate logistics for the transportation and setup of decorations.

Ensure that the decoration schedule aligns with the overall wedding timeline.

Storage and Maintenance:

Arrange for the safe storage of decorations before and after the event.

Ensure that reusable items are properly maintained and stored for future use.

Post-Event Cleanup:

Coordinate the efficient and timely removal of decorations after the event.

Ensure that the venue is left in its original condition.
