The successful candidate will collaborate with our marketing and design teams to produce visually appealing and effective graphic materials.Key Responsibilities:Field Test Planning and Execution:Develop comprehensive field test plans to evaluate and validate smartphone performance across different network technologies (e.g., 5G, LTE, Wi-Fi) and geographical areas.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, product management, and network partners, to ensure test objectives align with product requirements and industry standards.Conduct field tests, analyze network coverage, call quality, data performance, battery life, display quality and Software features under real-world conditions.Global & Local Regulatory Certification:Interface with network operators and regulatory bodies to obtain necessary certifications for smartphones to launch in various markets.Understand and adhere to the certification requirements set forth by different operators and regulatory bodies, ensuring successful compliance for our products.Proactively identify potential issues and work with internal teams to address them to expedite the certification process.Data Analysis and Reporting:Analyze field test data, interpreting results to identify areas of improvement and optimization.Prepare comprehensive reports outlining the findings, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders, including management, product teams, and manufacturer engineering departments.Perform devices log analysis.Cross-functional Collaboration:Work closely with the product development team to understand product features and capabilities, providing feedback on potential performance improvements.Collaborate with the quality assurance team to ensure that the identified issues are efficiently addressed and resolved.Competitor Benchmarking:Conduct thorough benchmarking of competitor smartphones to gain insights into their performance, features, and capabilities.Develop and maintain a comprehensive database of competitor specifications, test results, and performance metrics.Collaborate with product management and R&D teams to formulate strategies for product improvements based on benchmarking findings.Regularly provide competitive analysis reports to management and key stakeholders, highlighting strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for our smartphones.Qualifications and Skills:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related technical field. A master's degree is a plus.Proven experience in field testing and certification of smartphones or mobile devices in a professional capacity.Familiarity with mobile communication technologies (e.g., 5G, LTE, GSM, CDMA) and wireless network protocols.Understanding of network operator certification processes and regulatory requirements (e.g., FCC, CE, PTCRB).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to present technical information effectively to diverse audiences.Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic work environment.Office Address: Our office is near Deira City Centre Metro Station, Dubai, UAE.
