With the continuous efforts from our trust and safety team, TikTok is able to provide the best user experience and bring joy to everyone in the world.As a University Graduate Machine Learning Engineer, you'll have the chance to work with our clients and teams to address key business problems and identify areas of growth for the company. With your education and experience, you will be able to take on real-world challenges from day one.Key ResponsibilitiesWork with our world-class engineers to build industry-leading trust and safety systems for TikTokDevelop and build up highly-scalable classifiers, tools, models and algorithms leveraging cutting-edge machine learning, computer vision and data mining technologiesImprove our trust and safety strategy and work on model iterationsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to protect TikTok globallyQualificationsCurrently pursuing your PhD degree in Computer Science or related engineering fieldSolid knowledge in at least one of the following areas: machine learning, computer vision, NLP, multi-modal models, or data mining.Good understanding of data structures and algorithmsGreat communication and teamwork skillsPassion about techniques and solving challenging problemsTikTok is committed to creating an inclusive space where employees are valued for their skills, experiences, and unique perspectives. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.Our company benefits are designed to convey company culture and values, to create an efficient and inspiring work environment, and to support our employees to give their best in both work and life.
