Senior Crypto Arbitrage Trader

An established investment firm in Cape Town is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Crypto Arbitrage Trader to join their team. As a Senior Crypto Arbitrage Trader, you will be responsible for identifying and executing profitable trading opportunities across multiple cryptocurrency exchanges. You will leverage your in-depth knowledge of the cryptocurrency market and trading strategies to generate optimal returns.ResponsibilitiesTrading Operations: Execute crypto arbitrage trades, ensuring best execution practices to maximize returns. Monitor FX and cryptocurrency markets to identify arbitrage opportunities. Develop and implement trading strategies for arbitrage in the crypto markets. Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of global FX and cryptocurrency markets, including economic indicators, market trends, and geopolitical events. Provide regular market updates and insights to clients and internal stakeholders. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored trading solutions. Act as a key point of contact for clients, addressing any queries and providing expert advice on crypto and FX trading. Risk Management: Identify, monitor, and manage risks associated with arbitrage trading activities. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal risk management policies. Team Leadership: Contribute to the continuous improvement of trading systems and processesRequirements Bachelor's degree in Commerce (BCom) or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in FX trading, with a proven track record of successful trading performance. Proficiency in trading platforms, risk management tools, and market analysis software. Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed trading decisions. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate market views and trading strategies clearly. Strong client relationship management skills with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships. In-depth understanding of FX market regulations and compliance requirements.
