Diesel Mechanic

Overview Job Title: Diesel Mechanic - Mining Location: Mpumalanga Job Type: Full-time Job Summary: Hire Resolve's Client are seeking a skilled and experienced Diesel Mechanic to join their mining operation in Mpumalanga. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and servicing a fleet of heavy-duty diesel vehicles and equipment used in our mining operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mining equipment maintenance and repair, as well as a solid understanding of diesel engines. Responsibilities: - Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty diesel vehicles and mining equipment - Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform necessary repairs - Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on all equipment - Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety standards and regulations - Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used - Assist in managing inventory of spare parts and equipment - Assist in training and mentoring junior mechanics Qualifications: - Trade Certificate in Diesel Mechanics and Grade 12 - Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Diesel Mechanic in a mining environment - Solid knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical components - Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Benefits: Salary: R800k - R700k Contact Hire Resolve for your next career-changing move.
