Quality Control Supervisor

We are a Nationwide Vehicle Reseller that has celebrated over 10 years in business. We are on the lookout for a Quality Control Supervisor to work a minimum 40 hours per week and maximum 50 hours per week. Monday to Friday 8:00am – 5:30pm with occasional overtime required. Duties: Ensuring compliance with industry standards for cosmetic appearance Ensuring the vehicles meet the standards defined in the Consumer Guarantees Act, for reliability, free from major and minor defects. Work with the greater Operational Team under the guidance of our operations Manager to ensure appropriate repairs are completed using the fastest (or most cost effective) methods Liaising with Groomers and Buffers for instant rework as required. Understand daily targets and driving supply chain to meet or exceed these targets during the complete work cycle. Escalate to Operations Manager (or above) any staffing, supply or quality issues that will prevent you from achieving your daily targets The successful applicants will need the following skills: Quality Assurance: Understanding of terminology, methods and tools used to get best results across our range of quality control areas. Relevant work experience Communication: the ability to communicate clearly and concisely, varying communication style depending upon the audience. Attention to detail: excellent attention to detail and written skills when communicating with others, both internally and externally. Teamwork: willingness to assist and support others as required and get on with team members. Time management/organisation: accomplish objectives effectively within time frame given Have good communication skills, listen and follow instructions, be able to fill in paperwork accurately. Be punctual and be able to work extra hours when required.
