What is a Specialist Public Sector Partnerships?
The Specialist Public Sector Partnerships role is responsible for deriving, managing, and executing the business and revenue of the Public Sector Partnerships Department. The role is responsible for meeting revenue and volume targets along with serving existing clients and devising growth strategies by taking a deep dive into the payments system of clients and actively connecting with internal teams such as product, technology, and marketing to derive growth. The role is also required to develop an in-depth understanding of Jazz Cash products, identify end-to-end solutions, and execute effective selling and cross-selling strategies. The role is required to have excellent research skills in order to run industry analysis and effective market sizing against a particular product. Bringing growth into the existing Public Partnerships portfolio is a key responsibility of the Specialist Public Partnerships.
The role reports directly to Manager B2G Solutions Analytics and Growth.
What does Public Partnerships Analyst do?
Develop an in-depth understanding of Jazz Cash products, services, and processes.
Pursue high-value organizations for sale of disbursement and collections solutions by integration and onboarding large ecosystems.
Responsible for bringing new clients onboard while maintaining relationships with existing ones.
Act as principal point of contact between a business and its customers.
Identify new markets and customer leads and pitch prospective customers.
Develop understanding of existing public sector client base and liaise with them for upselling and ensuring smooth operational activities.
Develop pipeline of potential clients through directly reaching out to them or by leveraging other Jazz channels.
Track and present pipeline to management for the region.
Maintain professional and technical knowledge of Digital Financial Services by staying updated on regulatory and business practice changes.
Guide clients through various stages of the lifecycle from conception, negotiation, onboarding, and live.
Deliver on monthly, quarterly, and yearly targets.
Manage and execute the revenue and volume targets against Jazz Cash products for Public Sector Partners.
Develop and maintain a healthy sales pipeline with maturity timelines.
Make business cases for each client to assess profitability.
Service onboarded clients, understand their challenges, and create opportunities for growth.
Analyze individual partner performance on a daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
Prepare effective pitch decks for individual partners.
Explore new relevant verticals where payment cycles can be digitized.
Conduct continuous industry research and market sizing for existing and new verticals.
Form long-lasting relationships with Public Sector Entities.
Manage advocacy for Digital Payments with Public Sector Entities.
Any other tasks assigned by Line Manager or Head of department.
Requirements
What are we looking for?
Bachelor's degree in business management, social sciences, project management, or a related field.
Hands-on experience with technical sales, relationship building, and relationship management with Public Sector Entities.
Experience servicing Public Sector Entities is a plus.
In-depth understanding of the Fintech and Banking sector is a plus.
Excellent PowerPoint presentation skills.
Excellent market research skills.
Experience with technical writing is a plus.
Knowledge of payment products such as Collections, Disbursements, and Payment Gateway.
