We are looking for a Network Engineer III to implement, maintain and support our growing need for on-premises and cloud offering in voice, data, video, and wireless network services. You will be part of the Infrastructure team that is responsible for designing and developing scalable, maintainable, highly available network architectures across the organization that meet business objectives and SLAs. This individual will also analyze and resolve network hardware and software problems in a timely and accurate fashion and provide end user training. This is a remote position for candidates located in India.Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesStrategy & PlanningCollaborate with IT and Business teams to assess near and long-term network capacity needs.Create and maintain documentation as it relates to network configuration, network mapping, processes, and service records.Develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and associated training plans for network administration, usage, and disaster recovery.Acquisition & DeploymentDesign and deploy LANs, WANs, and wireless networks, including servers, routers, hubs, switches, UPSs, and other hardware.Conduct research on network products, services, protocols, and standards to remain abreast of developments in the networking industry.Oversee new and existing equipment, hardware, and software upgrades.Interact and negotiate with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors to secure network products and services.Participate in Design and implementation meetings.Assist in design, implement, and support for Audio/Video systemsNetwork ManagementConfigure networks to ensure their smooth and reliable operation for fulfilling business objectives and processes.Administrate various devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, Wi-Fi, MFA, VOIP phone system and security tools)Monitor network performance to ensure system availability and troubleshoot problem areas as needed.Act as a primary point of contact for all sites and provide Level-2/3 support to resolve issues.Ensure network connectivity of all servers, workstations, telephony equipment, fax machines, and other network appliances.Practice network asset management, including maintenance of network component inventory and related documentation and technical specifications information.Monitor and test network performance and provide network performance statistics and reports. Participate in managing all network security solutions.Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, and participating in professional organizations.Perform network security audits, and system backups and recovery as needed.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in computer science or related field5 Years of relevant minimum relevant work in IT supportProven experience and success with LAN, WAN, WLAN, and WWAN design and implementation.Proven experience with network capacity planning, network security principles, and general network management best practices.Proven experience with VOIP phone systems.Excellent hardware troubleshooting experience.Competence with testing tools and procedures for voice and data circuits.Knowledge working with networking protocols (e.g., IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS)Preferred Qualifications:Cisco certification(s) - CCIE or CCNP2+ years of experience in the medical device industryGood understanding of the organization's goals and objectives and constantly looks forward.Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
