Iv focuses, among other things, on constructions for high-end commercial and residential construction. Sportpark Willem-Alexander above the A4 highway, various animal residences in Blijdorp and the Pontsteiger in Amsterdam are just a few examples. As main constructor, your responsibilities include independently designing and calculating structures in the various design stages and drawing up specifications and job descriptions. You will liaise with clients, the design team and contractors in collaboration with a project leader. Visiting the construction site is also part of your duties: it is, of course, necessary to check whether the construction you have designed is executed in accordance with the design.Within Iv, we have people with a wealth of knowledge of installation technology and architecture: an ideal combination! This enables us to approach projects integrally. We lead the way in 3D design and BIM, with which we flawlessly coordinate building-related installations with the other involved disciplines. This way, contractors can get to work immediately following the design phase! Among other prominent projects, Iv has worked on the large-scale transformation of the Baumannkerk in Rotterdam and Lidl's new, self-sufficient distribution centre in Almere!What do we expect from you?With at least 5 years' experience and at least a completed college degree in civil engineering or structural design, you have the perfect background to join our team. With your eye for detail, you will ensure that we can maintain our high quality standards. The competences that specifically come in handy in this role are therefore accuracy, decisiveness and quality awareness. You will also be given every opportunity to further develop your technical knowledge, such as preparing structural calculations, handling the various calculation software, attending training courses and communicating with all stakeholders.
