Our team has an immediate permanent opening for a Technical Expert.
Responsibilities:
Conduct advanced research and development of power supply architecture of data center, mainly focusing on system/board/chip level power architecture, including multi-phase buck converter, switch capacitor, fully integrated voltage regulators, SCVR, TLVR, etc.
Work with power integrity (PI) engineers to ensure robustness of the design, as well as work closely with other departments, such as internal firmware/software teams, test group, manufacturing, quality control, and marketing to ensure the seamless integration of new technologies into product lines.
Provide new power design technology assessments and conduct power technology research, and determine future technologies trend.
Manage and execute projects from concept to production, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
Design, test and tune analog and digital DC-DC converters with power ranging from 500mA to 300A.
Prepare technical documents, reports, and presentations to communicate findings and progress.
What you'll bring to the team:
Bachelor degree or above, majoring in Electronic Technology, Electromagnetic field, Computer Engineering or related field.
At least 10+ years of related technical engineering experience in power electronics, analog circuit design, power module design, as well as rich experience in basic circuits theory, PI simulation, testing and analysis.
Specialized in power electronics that include voltage regulator topologies, such as multi-phase Buck, Buck-Boost, LLC, switch capacitor, TLVR.
Specialized in DC-DC control loop tuning for stability and transient performance, linear and non-linear control.
Experience with DC/DC voltage regulator validation/testing; electronic equipment characterizations/measurements that include digital oscilloscopes, network analyzers, and electronic loads.
Experience with power simulation software such as SPICE, Simplis, Cadence, PowerSI, and understanding of effective PCB stack-up design.
