Senior Business Intelligence Developer

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior BI Developer with over 8 years of experience in Power BI and advanced data management. This role will be crucial in developing insightful reports and dashboards, managing data pipelines, and ensuring the integrity of data across all reporting solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience in Power Platform, APIs, and advanced data modeling, with knowledge of AI and machine learning (ML) applications. Experience with tools such as SQL, Python, Power Query, and Microsoft Fabric will further support the development of cutting-edge data-driven solutions for our clients.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and implement complex Power BI reports and dashboards that meet diverse client requirements.Create and manage efficient data pipelines to ensure seamless data flow into reporting environments.Collaborate closely with clients and internal teams to gather requirements, translating them into effective data visualizations.Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across all reports and dashboards.Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for data visualization and report generation issues.Stay updated with the latest Power BI features, trends, and technologies, continuously improving development processes.Mentor and provide guidance to junior analysts and team members.Work on advanced analytics projects, including the use of AI and machine learning for data-driven insights and solutions.Utilize APIs to integrate various data sources and improve reporting functionalities.Design advanced data models and develop SQL queries to optimize reporting processes.Build and manage ETL processes using Power Query and other data transformation tools.Leverage Python for advanced data manipulation and automation.Qualifications:8+ years of experience in BI development, with a focus on Power BI report creation, customization, and advanced analytics.Strong expertise in data pipeline creation, data management, and ensuring the integrity of complex data sets.Understanding of APIs and their integration in BI environments.Experience with SQL and designing advanced data models for reporting and analysis.Proven experience handling complex data sets and developing advanced data visualizations.ETL experience with Power Query or similar tools.Proficiency in Python for data analysis and automation.Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a focus on producing high-quality work.Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with Power Platform and advanced Power BI features.Knowledge of AI and machine learning (ML) applications, with experience in implementing these technologies into BI solutions.Experience with Microsoft Fabric is a plus.Certifications in Power BI or related areas, such as Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate or equivalent.
