Health and Safety Officer - €45K - €55K (Cavan)

A well established Construction firm based in Derrylea, Co. Cavan is looking for an ambitious Safety Representative to join our growing team based in Co. Cavan and surrounding areas. Role and Responsibilities: Develop and enforce safety policies and procedures in accordance with local regulations and industry standards. Provide safety training to employees, subcontractors, and other personnel on proper safety practices, equipment usage, and emergency procedures. Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits to identify hazards, assess risks, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Oversee the maintenance, inspection, and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), safety gear, and safety devices on site. Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, training sessions, and compliance documentation as required by regulatory agencies. Stay up-to-date with relevant safety regulations, codes, and standards, and ensure that the company remains in compliance with all applicable requirements. Ideal Candidate: QQI H&S Representative Level 5 Valid Manual Handling and Safe Pass 2 years minimum experience in the construction industry Full Irish Driving License
