The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in MySQL development, Google Sheets API integration, and real-time database management. This role will involve working closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize database solutions while ensuring data security and seamless integration with cloud services.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain MySQL databases.Optimize database performance, including complex query writing and performance tuning.Implement real-time integration between MySQL databases and Google Sheets using Google Sheets API.Manage data synchronization and ETL processes to ensure live updates without downtime or data loss.Work with third-party APIs and cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) to manage and scale database instances.Implement data security protocols and manage access control.Mentor junior developers and lead database development projects.Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver database solutions on time and within scope.Required Qualifications:Education:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's preferred).Certifications in MySQL or related database systems (e.g., Oracle Certified MySQL Database Administrator) are an advantage.Technical Skills:7+ years of experience with MySQL database development and administration.Expertise in SQL, including complex query writing, stored procedures, and performance tuning.Extensive experience with Google Sheets API integration.Proficiency in data synchronization techniques and real-time database integration.Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, and cloud services.Advanced experience with Google Apps Script for custom solutions in Google Sheets.Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.Hands-on experience with automation tools like Zapier or Integromat.Real-Time Data Management:Proven experience managing real-time data flow and ensuring live updates between Google Sheets and MySQL.Experience in ETL processes and data pipelines for smooth data transfer.Leadership and Management:Experience leading database design and development projects.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex integration issues.Ability to mentor junior team members and promote database best practices.Other Soft Skills:Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Project management experience in delivering database solutions on time.Preferred Qualifications:Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.Prior experience integrating MySQL with business intelligence tools.Familiarity with automated testing and debugging tools for databases.Certifications in cloud computing (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Database Engineer).How to Apply: If you meet the qualifications and are excited to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, please apply with your resume and cover letter at (your application link).
