We want you to become the best version of yourself. Join us as a 3CS Solution Engineer The successful candidate will work within a dedicated technical pre-sales team. They will support the delivery of sales proposals to Three's business customers administratively, commercially and technically. The role is suited to candidates who have a technical background as well as an aptitude for designing solutions, both technically and commercially, for business customers. This is a customer-facing role. The role will include working with the following technologies: Connectivity, LAN, Wi-Fi, IoT, Mobility, Security and Unified Communications. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with Three's business customers daily, listening to their concerns and designing solutions with their short- and long-term business needs in mind. Another key part of the role is supporting the Solution Architects in designing more complex technical solutions for customers based on the Three ICT and IoT product portfolio. Three Business' customer base spans large corporate to SME, so the role demands the ability to present these solutions clearly and articulately to both; likewise to both a technical and non-technical audience. Once a solution moves to the delivery stage, the successful candidate will be responsible for documenting the particulars of the design, following the correct processes and ensuring the solution can be delivered by Three's implementation team and supported by Three's Technical Support Desk (TSD) in-life. The role includes the opportunity to proactively drive initiatives to improve existing tools and processes. We are looking for people with passion, energy, and a get-stuck-in attitude. The role works collaboratively with other teams and partners, allowing successful relationship builders and fantastic communicators the chance to really shine. What else it involves Responsible and accountable for the design of solutions in the 3Connected Solutions (ICT) portfolio, such as: MWAN, SD-WAN, LAN, Wi-Fi, Unified Communications, IoT, Security and Mobility solutions. Follows the relevant processes when documenting and submitting designs and solutions to the business implementation team, to enable an efficient and best-in-class delivery to the customer. Combines technical and commercial skills to design viable technology solutions. Maintains technical knowledge through training and self-learning on relevant technologies, including: WAN, SD-WAN, LAN, Unified Communications, Security & IoT. Works with Account Managers to identify opportunities in their customer base and acts as the technical authority at customer meetings with the Account Managers. Delivers a target number of newly qualified opportunities to Three. Tracks and reports on their own performance via SalesForce. Maintains and grows their awareness of customer sentiment and market offerings, working with the product teams to build new products and modify existing ones to meet our customers' needs. Builds Profit and Loss (P&L) commercial interpretation of the solutions incorporating the costs, revenues and margins. Working with our product managers and finance teams for approval of proposed solutions. These will include small, medium and large opportunities, renewal of existing customers and onboarding of new customers. Working with partners to gather costs. Support on the technical requirements assessment on customer opportunities for both ICT and IoT. Work with the Account Management team for day-to-day changes to customers accounts within our IoT platform. Present Three's product and technical offerings to our customers. Documenting and presenting proposed design and commercial options to our customers. The skills we're looking for We are looking for a person who can work with stakeholders and vendors and show a good understanding of the ICT products in the market. They should have good design aspects, are process focused, enjoys working with technology and wants to further grow their knowledge. They should have; A conceptual understanding of routing protocols (such as BGP), Ethernet, WiFi6, 3G, 4G, 5G, as well as fibre, radio and DSL access technologies. Experience with connectivity solutions to deliver LAN, WiFi, WAN, SDWAN and IOT solutions CCNA or higher accreditation Degree or equivalent in Engineering, Information Technology, or similar technical discipline. Experience at working with sales teams and providing presales support for them. Ability to cost technical solutions gathering details from multiple sources and building into a business case. Proven ability to understand other industry offerings and position Threes solutions against them. Customer centric and solution-oriented mindset Ability to use Visio or similar design/documentation tools. Track record of having a customer experience focus & having experience in a similar role. Sound understanding of Telecom networking and telecommunication technologies - POTS, IP, Ethernet, and RAN would be an advantage. Excellent presentation skills, able to construct and deliver material appropriate to the audience and situation. Any ICT vendor experience from Cisco, Meraki , Solarwinds etc, or others would be an asset.
