Oliver Wyman - Engagement Manager - Transportation - Dubai and RiyadhCompany: Oliver WymanDescription:Our Middle East Transportation & Services Team is seeking extraordinary individuals with deep expertise within Transportation (airlines, railways, etc.) to support our continued expansion in this sector. We are specifically looking for candidates with solid strategy consulting experience at the Engagement Manager level.Globally, Oliver Wyman helps transportation service and infrastructure providers stay ahead of markets and competitors through creative growth strategies and customized cost optimization and reduction programs. We are also leaders in developing and executing innovative financial solutions for transportation asset owners and investors. Our clients include many of the world's largest transportation providers, both public and private, on six continents.THE ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIESENGAGEMENT MANAGERS are the on-scene leaders who run our projects day to day. You will lead the team through an efficient and effective problem-solving process from initial thought process through convergence on a solution. You will ensure that recommendations are correct, practical, sensible, relevant, and cohesive. It's a role that demands thought leadership at the strategic level - and command of all the technical and operational details of execution. You will need great communication skills and the ability to forge strong relationships.YOUR ATTRIBUTES AND EXPERIENCEAt least 6-10 years of relevant experience, ideally with a top-tier strategy consulting firm (or similar organization).Knowledge within topics specifically within the transportation and services fields, gained through experience in a consulting company.A strong background in strategic problem solving with demonstrable analytical skills.Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in both formal and informal settings.Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.An undergraduate or advanced degree from a top academic program.Willingness to travel.Initiative in seeking out opportunities to learn new skills and apply existing ones.Creativity in problem-solving.Aptitude for analytical work, such as analyzing large data sets.A willingness to work fluidly and respectfully with a talented team.Why work at Oliver Wyman?Working as part of our global, entrepreneurial company, you will do meaningful work from day one.
