The Corporate Portfolio supports MSD's vision by delivering corporate platform systems, processes, people capability and information that support our organisation and staff to meet the needs of our clients and whānau. This ensures we fulfil our accountabilities to government and other stakeholders. These systems and processes underpin the services we provide to clients and are vital to ensure we can continue to operate effectively in a more complex future. The Corporate Portfolio (CP) aims to make it easy to do work at MSD by focusing on our MSD people and their experience when engaging with their work. CP provides a unified and controlled delivery structure for all change initiatives originating from the Corporate, Workforce and Workplace portfolios. That means anything that requires additional budget and/or resources above and beyond the BAU team will be managed through CP.

The Senior Business Analyst (BA) supports the corporate portfolio of work to develop effective solutions to realise value for key change initiatives, contributing to the ongoing development of the Portfolio through the provision of high-quality expert advice in identifying and realising opportunities for continuous improvement within the Portfolio functions. The position requires a detailed understanding of the Portfolio's functions but also emphasises variation and adaptability and an all-of-Ministry (MSD) approach. The Senior BA will be required to interact with staff across MSD and provide project/issues management leadership, guidance and support as required to ensure the activities for each area's change initiatives are aligned to the portfolio strategies and that the investment approach is being applied appropriately. Salary range: $102,533.00 - $124,402.00
