It is linked to the Al Ghurair Shopping Centre, only 3 stops away on the Dubai Metro from the Dubai World Trade Centre and a 10 minute drive from Dubai International Airport.Job DescriptionAs a Demi Chef De Partie - Pastry, you will be responsible for overall operational management of the Pastry Kitchen including production and personnel management of team members. Promote the Mission statement, product and service standards, and marketing goals of Swissôtel Hotels & Resorts.What's in it for you:Employee benefit card offering discounted rates in Accor worldwideLearning programs through our AcademiesOpportunity to develop your talent and grow within your property and across the world!Ability to make a difference through our Corporate Social Responsibility activitiesWhat you will be doing:Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods according to standards.Ensure standard recipes are used and pastry and bakery items are presented according to pictorials.Perform training programs (theoretical and practical) for Commis and trainees.Food preparation and cooking, plating, presentation.Kitchen maintenance and cleaning, following food safety requirements.Maintaining and ordering stocks and supplies.Ensure food prepared is according to the set menu specifications (pictures and/or portions) thus maintaining high standards set.Organise your section according to the plan devised by the Chef In Charge, to ensure smooth operation.QualificationsMinimum 2-3 years of previous experience in the hotel industry is preferred.Excellence in strategic leadership and team management.Creative and passionate about food and customer service.Able to work in a high-pressure environment.Additional InformationPlease note that you must be eligible to live and work in Dubai.
