IT Applications Analyst (Operational Support)

Within this role you will be responsible for the overall system maintenance and ongoing support for a system or group of systems within the IOPS technology landscape. The individual provides installation, configuration and support services to the assigned system or systems to meet end-user needs. You will process system change controls and documents and maintain configurations to ensure that systems remain in a validated state and in compliance with internal Regeneron guidelines if no validation is required. You will write or assist in the writing of test plans and test scripts. As an IT Applications Analyst a typical day might include, but is not limited to, the following:

• Performing custom application changes in development, validation or equivalent testing environment, and production environments
• Recommending and installing systems updates, patches, and hot fixes
• Monitoring applications for readiness, availability, and trend analysis
• Identifying and resolving application inconsistencies and defects
• Logging application support incidents and preparing appropriate resolution plans
• Providing end-user support for assigned applications including troubleshooting problems at the application server level
• Performing administration activities, i.e., setting user accounts, roles, access, and privileges
• Researching application problems and issues and preparing appropriate resolution plans
• Handling application-specific documentation, including converting user requirement specifications to a detailed design specification, writing test plans, technical evaluation, and configuration specification documents
• Performing application monitoring and performance tuning
• Processing appropriate application change control requests
• Working with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues

To be considered for this opportunity, you must hold a BS/BA in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline and have 3+ years of relevant experience. Proficiency in SQL, database concepts, and experience supporting enterprise systems in a GXP industry and in a pharmaceutical setting is highly preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
