About the Role We are seeking a motivated and versatile Content Associate to work with us on our purpose-driven initiatives, specifically special projects incubated by our co-founder. The ideal candidate may have a background in psychology or social sciences & / a personal mental health lived experience; combined with a passion for content creation and research. This role will involve supporting our co-founder on new initiatives at Amaha including community outreach, landscape research, content creation and cross-sectoral stakeholder engagement. Key Responsibilities
- Content Creation: Write engaging short-form and long-form content for various channels, including social media, blogs, and newsletters. Ensure that content aligns with our tone of voice and brand identity.
- Social Media Management: Develop strategy and schedule social media posts, track engagement metrics, and analyze performance to optimize content strategy.
- Design and Creativity: Create visually appealing graphics using tools like Canva. Develop creative concepts that align with content and social media goals.
- Research Support: Conduct secondary research to support ongoing projects and provide insights that inform content and strategic decisions.
- Operational Assistance: Provide administrative and operational support to the co-founder to ensure smooth execution of parallel projects and daily tasks.
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Sciences, or a related field. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Content Writing: Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality written content. Experience with different content formats is a plus.
- Design Skills: Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Canva) and an eye for visual aesthetics.
- Social Media: Understanding of social media platforms and engagement strategies.
- Research Skills: Ability to conduct secondary research and synthesize information effectively.
- Operational Skills: Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to adapt tone and style as needed.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work in a hybrid environment and adapt to various tasks as required.
