JOB PURPOSE Oversees the strategic planning, management and overall project implementation completion and success, ensuring seamless operation and alignment with organisational goals. Responsibilities include coordinating development teams, ensuring compliance with business standards, and fostering collaboration across departments to enhance the system's efficiency and effectiveness. Strong leadership, communication, fast learner and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES A. Strategic Planning

  1. Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for the Open Payments System, aligning it with the organisation's overall goals and objectives. Identify opportunities for system enhancement and expansion to meet evolving business needs. Owns, leads and execute the success of 5 years roadmap for Prasarana Open Payments System.
B. Stakeholder Collaboration
  1. Manage and foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, across C-Suites and Board of Directors, including within ALL Business Units, not limiting to internal Prasarana only. Possess strong and professional presentation and communication skills to effectively manage all the stakeholders with regards to projects requirements and updates to Top Management and Board of Directors.
C. Project Management
  1. Lead cross-functional development teams, ensuring effective collaboration and communication. Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and successful delivery of system updates and improvements.
  2. To update Project Steering Committee / Management on the project implementation milestones/ progress.
D. Compliance and Risk Management
  1. Ensure the Open Payments System complies with industry regulations and standards. Develop and implement risk management strategies to safeguard the integrity and security of financial transactions.
E. Performance Monitoring
  1. Implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness and efficiency of the Open Payments System. Continuously monitor and analyze system performance, identifying areas for improvement.
F. Team Leadership
  1. Provides a clear direction for successful implementation of Open Payments System within a high-performing and experienced team of professionals. Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, COMPETENCIES & KNOWLEDGE
  1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in any relevant field such as Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Engineering/Science, IT, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/ Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering with minimum of sixteen (16) years of working experience in related field and managing a similar scale project in an environment close to Prasarana.
  2. Practical Experience, Industry Knowledge and a track record of success in Open Payments System in leadership roles are often equally critical.
  3. Knowledge on Open Payments Industry with comprehensive understanding of the payments industry landscape, including knowledge of emerging trends, technologies, and regulatory requirements.
  4. Product Development Experience in overseeing the development and enhancement of payment products and services, including digital wallets, peer-to-peer payments, and contactless payments.
  5. Strong ability to collaborate with and influence nontechnical stakeholders in data driven decision making.
  6. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to navigate complex technical and business challenges.
  7. Customer-focused with commitment to delivering Open Payments System with customer experience as the top priority and implementing strategies to enhance satisfaction and loyalty.
  8. Expertise in identifying and mitigating risks associated with payment processing, fraud prevention, and data security.
  9. Financial Acumen with the ability to analyze financial data, assess performance metrics, and make data-driven decisions to optimize revenue, profitability, and operational efficiency.
