• 8-12 years of mobile development experience. 3+ years experience as an architect or lead.
• Native app development for Android using Kotlin, object-oriented programming, Android components, Android lifecycle components, Lifecycle callbacks and multi-threading (Coroutines, Flow, RxJava).
• Experience with common Android libraries like Retrofit, Ok Dagger, Glide, Picasso, RxJava, GSON, Architecture - components, etc.
• Proficiency in debugging - identifying memory leaks, ANRs, performance bottlenecks, Memory profiling and using tools like ADB, Proguard, etc
• Experience with different programming paradigms, especially Reactive and Functional programming
• Experience building highly modular, testable, maintainable and performant consumer apps.
• Expertise in building attractive, intuitive, and responsive user interfaces.
• User interface design guidelines and standards of the mobile platforms, such as Material Design for Android and Human Interface Guidelines for iOS
• Proven track record of applying best practices and architecture patterns such as MVC, MVP, MVVM, and MVI.
• Familiar with UX design techniques - user research, personas, user journeys, wireframes, prototypes, and user testing.
• Building highly secure apps - knowledge of encryption, authentication, authorization, data validation, and error handling.
• Experience defining and improving SDLC processes.

• Cross platform app development frameworks like React Native, Flutter
• Experience building offline first experience.
• Fin tech domain knowledge
• Knowledge of cloud and backend design / architecture, Web sockets
