JOB SUMMARY: The HRIS (Integration) Business Analyst role will play a vital role in the integration development process supporting HRIS technologies. Our primary HRIS application is Workday, and this role will work across all of Workday modules we utilize. Integrations are facilitated using Workday products and MuleSoft. This role will represent the integration team to the business and relay information to the developer team. It will create mockups and provide design and development input. This role must have excellent requirements gathering and documentation skills, as well as excellent communication skills when interfacing with both the business and the IT team. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements specific to the HRIS integrations.
  • Translate complex business requirements into clear and comprehensive requirements documentation, ensuring alignment with Workday’s capabilities.
  • Work with business owners to understand their requirements and provide them with guidance on the best integration design and the data elements that will meet their needs.
  • Perform the role of Workday integration SME.
  • Collaborate with the IT team that will configure, customize, and implement solutions, while adhering to industry best practices and standards.
  • Partner with the IT & QA teams to prioritize integration work and ensure business needs are met.
  • Manage all work in Jira, with excellent attention to detail, to provide business and leadership with real time status.
  • Create custom Workday reports and calculated fields to support integrations.
  • Create custom fields within Workday and update them manually or with an EIB.
  • Monitor, track, and troubleshoot system issues, identifying root causes and lead the process of implementing appropriate resolutions to minimize downtime and optimize performance while keeping business stakeholders apprised of the status and resolution steps.
  • Participate in semiannual system patch testing ensuring uninterrupted system performance.
  • Compliance: Ensure processes adhere to company policies, industry regulations, SOX controls, and best practices.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies related to HRIS and suggest improvements accordingly.
  • Other integration support tasks as identified.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, or ABILITIES
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Attention to detail and a focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • Project management skills and experience in process improvement initiatives.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a complex and dynamic environment and work independently or as part of a team.

  • Expert with Excel (Filters, VLOOKUP's, pivot tables, concatenations, etc.)
  • Ability to influence others.
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, or a related field. 4+ years of experience designing and developing Workday integrations. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to document complex business requirements and work with IT for delivery.
