Location: Pakistan

For a major international Dams and Hydropower project, our client is urgently seeking experienced RE Hydraulic Steel Structures. You will have the opportunity to work on one of the major Dam projects happening globally and one of the most important in the South Asia Region.

Project Description:Large hydroelectric gravity dam currently under construction developed by Pakistan Water and Power Development Authority. The Dam height will support a 3000+ MW hydropower station.

Responsibilities:

Review and approve the design for hydraulic steel structures such as gates, valves, and stop logs at the dam and appurtenant structures to be submitted by the Contractor.

Review and approve the design to be submitted by the Contractor for hydraulic steel structures such as gates and valves in power tunnels with inlet, penstock steel, and tailrace tunnels with outlet.

Carry out supervising installation and testing of hydraulic steel structure work at the dam and appurtenant structures in terms of progress control, cost, quality, risk, safety, environment, claims, and others.

Check the Contractor's plant, equipment, manpower, and construction materials through daily inspection and monitoring.

Carry out factory inspection for the whole hydraulic steel structure's work and prepare inspection reports.

Cooperate with other experts on the preparation, implementation, and supervision of daily activities.

Check the Contractor's monthly statement for payment related to the whole hydraulic steel structure work.

Assist and cooperate with the Contract Engineer to issue variation orders for the whole hydraulic steel structure's work.

Maintain construction records of the whole hydraulic steel structure's work.

Assist and cooperate with the Resident Engineer and Contract Engineer for claim settlement for the whole hydraulic steel structure's work.

Prepare and submit the required reports and documents, including the O&M manual and the completion report.

Conduct transfer of knowledge to the Client's staff.

Package Details:

10,000 to 14,000 USD Per Month

Accommodation and Travel provided by client
