About the RoleAs the Head of HR at Amaala's Clinique La Prairie Health Resort, you will play a pivotal role in our leadership team. Your primary responsibility will be to translate Clinique La Prairie's strategic vision, longevity philosophy (medical and wellness concepts and SOPs), ethos, and sustainability initiatives into actionable programs and activities. You will ensure the implementation of appropriate organizational structures, operational policies, and procedures.We seek a strategic yet hands-on senior HR professional who will partner closely with the local General Manager and Corporate HR to ensure the project is achieved on time and in full.You will be instrumental in the successful launch and ongoing operations of the Health Resort, aligning HR initiatives with the business goals.Key ResponsibilitiesLead by example as an ambassador of Clinique La Prairie's culture, fostering awareness and understanding among team members.Develop and implement activities and programs that embody the company's mission, purpose, and core values.Oversee internal communication initiatives to foster collaboration, idea-sharing, and a culture of mutual respect.Manage the PEC critical path as part of the pre-opening team, coordinating effectively with stakeholders to ensure the timely completion of tasks for a successful resort launch.Collaborate with the Lead Team to develop talent strategies that attract, hire, train, and retain high-performing teams across all departments.Partner with the local GM to ensure project milestones are met, providing strategic HR insights and operational support.Provide support to People Leaders on recruitment, onboarding, performance management, learning and development initiatives, employee well-being, compensation and benefits, and separations of employment, with a comprehensive understanding of local labor laws and practices.About AmaalaAmaala is an ultra-luxury destination located on the Red Sea coast of Saudi Arabia. The resort is part of an ambitious plan to create a premier destination for health and wellness on a global scale.QualificationsEducational Background:Bachelor's degree in human resources, law, business administration or related fields. A Master's degree is highly advantageous.Professional Experience:Demonstrated extensive experience in People Management within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), with significant exposure to a truly international context. Experience in luxury hospitality, wellness, or healthcare sectors is a significant plus.Expert in ensuring compliance with all KSA national labor laws and regulations, particularly concerning the licensure, certification, or registration of qualified professionals. This includes healthcare practitioners, engineers, technicians, accountants, and individuals requiring a Municipality Health Card.Interpersonal and Leadership Skills:Strong interpersonal skills with a natural ability to negotiate and influence others genuinely.Proven ability to lead by example, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.Passion for People Development:Passion for fostering positive experiences for job applicants and team members alike, ensuring a supportive and engaging, learning and continuous improvement workplace culture.Business Acumen:Strong business acumen with the ability to produce and interpret reports, analyze data, and optimize costs without compromising service quality.Experience in developing and implementing HR strategies, policies and procedures that align with business objectives.Community and Cultural Sensitivity:Commitment to community relations, developing culturally sensitive programs that benefit the local community.Understanding of diverse cultural contexts and the ability to create an inclusive workplace environment.Alignment with Core Values:Alignment with Clinique La Prairie's values, including a commitment to healthy and sustainable living.Demonstrated dedication to innovation and continuous improvement.Track Record of Success:Proven track record of driving process improvements and achieving results in fast-paced and dynamic environments.Experience managing complex projects and ensuring timely completion of key milestones.Pre-Opening Experience (in luxury hospitality, wellness, or healthcare sectors):Successfully designed and executed a comprehensive recruitment plan to hire over 500 qualified employees within a 12-month timeframe.Strategic Planning: Developed a targeted recruitment strategy that aligned with organizational goals, ensuring the attraction of high-quality candidates while adhering to budget constraints.Efficient Execution: Implemented the recruitment plan with precision, meeting tight deadlines and maintaining high standards throughout the process.Proven Results: Delivered on the ambitious hiring target, demonstrating expertise in managing large-scale recruitment projects and ensuring the timely onboarding of skilled professionals, all within the set budget.Collaboration and Independence:Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in various situations.Language Proficiency:Fluency in English and Arabic (written and verbal) is mandatory.Proficiency in French and other languages is advantageous, enhancing the ability to communicate effectively in a multilingual environment.Company Culture:At Clinique La Prairie, we firmly believe in a human-centric and highly personalized approach to preventive medicine, which we consider paramount in offering services that truly enhance people's lives.
