Location: Coventry & Dukinfield, UK (with travel between sites) Saint-Gobain Construction Chemicals is a newly formed business within Saint-Gobain, combining the recent Chryso and GCP acquisitions. The focus is to construct a more sustainable world and we believe it’s our responsibility to bring positive, sustainable impact with every product on every project across the globe. Role Overview: As a Performance Analyst, you will develop a deep understanding of our products and their various phases of the production process. Your primary responsibility will be to understand and analyse how these processes impact the financial performance of the business, with a particular focus on sales margin and customer pricing. You will also be responsible for calculating and maintaining the standard cost of our manufactured products. In this role, you will serve as a key business partner between our Finance, Operations, and Commercial teams. By providing valuable insights into product costs, developing and tracking manufacturing KPIs, and collaborating closely with Commercial leads, you will play a crucial role in driving pricing strategy and improving overall business performance. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a detailed understanding of the production process and its financial impact on the business, with a focus on sales margin and customer pricing.
- Calculate and maintain the standard cost of manufactured products.
- Provide key insights and analysis to the Finance, Operations, and Commercial teams, helping to drive pricing strategy and improve business performance.
- Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to manufacturing processes.
- Act as a bridge between the commercial, operational, and finance teams, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
- Travel regularly between our manufacturing sites in Coventry and Dukinfield to ensure a hands-on understanding of production processes and maintain strong relationships with site teams.
- Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of industrial processes.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience using SAP.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively bridge the gap between commercial, operational, and finance teams.
- A proactive, detail-oriented approach with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Flexibility and willingness to travel regularly between our Coventry and Dukinfield sites.
