What we are looking forCharles River Development, A State Street company, is looking for an experienced Head of Product Readiness to lead the CRD product side of major client onboarding initiatives. The role will require engaging multiple teams internally, coordinating with supporting vendors and facing off with the clients to manage the deliverables.Why this job is important to usCharles River Development plays a critical role in providing front and middle office solutions to a diverse State Street client base. The successful candidate will help ensure timely delivery of development work as part of large client onboarding projects.What you are responsible for:There are three major pillars to our Product Readiness Strategy:Platform Governance, E2E Readiness and Project GovernancePlatform GovernanceDirect and manage process and structure of product delivery including Jira approach, usage and managementBuild, organize and manage Capacity planning and tracking of overall product portfolio. Plan and build resource capacity and prioritization process including engineering resources to deliver planned product roadmap.Change managementManage Change management processBuild and assist with Change process across AlphaDelivery managementRun Process for intaking new gap delivery and coordination between teamsBuild process for gap coordination between Alpha and CRDProduct oversite on large engagements/deliveriesDrive technical approach to ensure meeting definition of goodAssist with Coordination across client engagements and projects working directly with PS and Engineering teamsManage delivery of critical communication and materials needed for effective updates for both internal and external audience including:Executive updatessales presentationsClient meeting TownhallsProduct specific presentationsProduct dashboardsProduct Townhall and all-handsAssist with production of delivery roadmaps and tracking the % of planned delivery.Project Governance and DeliveryLead product engagement with larger client implementations including sales, implementation and hyper care period in productionManage teams responsible for driving delivery of product commitmentsWork directly with product leads, PS leads and engineering leads to ensure delivery timelines are understood and being metBuild and drive weekly status reports internally and to the clientsLead build sessions with product to review gap deliveryAssist with getting required SDDs completedInterface directly with clients on engagements. Work to manage expectations.Assist with driving defect management and work with release teams to align with version, patches or hot fixesWork with PS leads on aligning with their plans and ensuring necessary Product tasks are accounted for.Escalate issues to senior leadership and organize remediation from projectsReadinessPlatform Readiness: Ensuring organizational readiness for large projects including:Testing validationSLA adherenceBatch certificationPerformance and resilienceOrganizational ReadinessSystems & Application ReadinessOverall Support ModelTrainingClient RequirementsReportingCommunications and Cutover Activities.E2E ReadinessLead workstreams focused on E2E integrityE2E testing: environments, adherence, alignment with AlphaEstablish E2E standardization of processesDefine target operating modelBuild Jira reporting to enable seamless reporting to clients across the organizationCustomizationsEstablish E2E organizational model and manage the on going requirementsEvolve the customization process to leverage SDLC and stabilize the platformDefine productization opportunities for customizationsEducation and Preferred QualificationsMinimum bachelor's degree or equivalentMinimum 12+ years financial services experienceProven institutional investment operations depth with subject matter expertise in one or more of the following core areas: transaction management, reconciliations, corporate actions, performance measurement and attribution, derivatives, bank loans and collateral managementProcess re-engineering certifications and experience (Lean, Six Sigma Black Belt)Professional consulting experience is a plusProven leadership and program management skillsProven strong communication, interpersonal, decision-making and negotiation skillsProven ability to work effectively on global scale with all levels of managementAbility to influence and work collaboratively across multiple (matrixed) organizations to reach common goalsOrganized with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environmentPMO Certified a plus but not requiredAbout State StreetWhat we do.
