Data Quality specialistAbu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates | Posted on 09/08/2022 These services are required to support thegoals of business and operations transformation, and end-to-end delivery of dataQuality activities . The scopeof the Data Management Data Quality specialist should cover the followingresponsibilities but not limited to it: Performing statistical testson large datasets to determine data quality and integrity. Evaluating systemperformance and design, as well as its effect on data quality. Collaborating with databasedevelopers to improve data collection and storage processes. Running data queries toidentify coding issues and data exceptions, as well as cleaning data. Gathering data from primaryor secondary data sources to identify and interpret trends. Reporting data analysisfindings to management to inform business decisions and prioritize informationsystem needs. Documenting processes andmaintaining data records. Adhering to best practicesin data analysis and collection. Keeping abreast ofdevelopments and trends in data quality analysis. Define business rules to beused by upstream end users and data management team to enhance data qualityawareness and contribution the upstream community. Define and Develop workflow,processes and business rules to ensure that the data quality is maintained atthe appropriate level, within the corporate database Conduct gap / root causeanalysis and understand business impact, present findings and resolve issues. Ensure that quality controltechniques and methodology are applied as per defined guidelines and industrystandards and provides inputs to prepare, establish and verify data that willbe used for geosciences studies. Participate in datagovernance and data stewardship activities and ensure data quality policies areapplied. Monitor, measure, andevaluate continuous data quality improvement by performing periodic dataquality reviews and report metrics Perform audits as required to ensure qualityprocesses exist and are being adhered and recommend remedial actions arisingfrom identified business challenges. Define the integrationrequirements between source of data to ensure data quality consistency andintegrity. Provide on-going first levelsupport, assistance and awareness to users as per set data management dataquality standards, processes and procedures. Performs data entry validations,verifying captured data against business rules, naming conventions andstandards. Ensure application of dataquality standards for user interfaces and data visualization tools forretrieval, access and viewing as per our organization rules. Build appropriate reviewpoints in new Information Management processes, and establish guidelines / KPI/ templates / checklists for the deliverables at these review points. Review,update and recommend value-adding improvements for the existing InformationManagement processes in terms of adequacy with guidelines / KPI / templates /checklists. Liaise with organization SubjectMatter Experts (SME) to assess different data sources and data types, and comeup with standards, conventions and data quality rules to be implementedconsistently across organization and data providers. Establish a monitoringsystem that would measure data quality dimensions status across organization . Set allprerequisite requirements that will accurately measure data completeness KPI. Requirements MinimumQualifications Requirement: 2+ years of experience with SQL, ETL and DataQuality tools (Informatica, Infosphere, Talent,..) At least 2 years of experience in dataanalysis. Strong technical aptitude with the ability toanalyze data, integrate data Experience with Data Integration fromInformatica and Azure Data Factory, Azure Datalake, Azure Data Bricks Proven pro-active, self-starter with theability to work both as an individual and within a team to resolve issues Experience in Data warehousing Ability to work on multiple projects anddeliverables simultaneously Experience with reporting packages such asPower BI Bachelor's degree in statistics, mathematics,computer science, information management, or similar. Exceptional analytical skills. Advanced problem-solving skills. Excellent interpersonal and communicationskills.
