Find out more about this role by reading the information below, then apply to be considered. *Please note that this is a 18 Month Fixed Term Contract for Maternity Cover* We are seeking a Medication Safety Pharmacist to join us here at Sciensus to lead our efforts in improving incident reporting for medication errors and medical devices. You will be key in promoting safe medication practices and ensuring top-quality patient care. This role is perfect for those seeking a challenge and striving for excellence. This unique position involves setting the strategy for medication safety. You’ll work with managers, pharmacists, and nurses to implement improvements and share learnings. You will represent Sciensus in local and national safety networks. As a Medication Safety Pharmacist, you will manage incident reporting, conduct root cause analyses, and produce detailed, actionable reports. You’ll also develop patient safety training materials and SOPs, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all processes. Who are Sciensus and what do they do? This all sounds great - What key skills do I need to apply: Undergraduate Degree in Pharmacy Registered with the GPhC and completion of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) as per guidelines Significant experience working as a pharmacist in a community or hospital environment Experience working within clinical governance and medication safety Able to demonstrate the ability to influence decision making with key stakeholders Experience of change management Familiar with the National Reporting & Learning System (NRLS), NRLS coding and Yellow card reporting scheme Never Event Policy and Framework Serious incident Framework Duty of Candour RCA methodology #Clinical1#LI-EG1
