Consultant Gastroenterologist | In patient and Outpatient | NZ

A full-time position for a consultant gastroenterologist with a public sector hospital in New Zealand's North Island just 30 minutes flight from Auckland. Position Highlights:

• Manage inpatients and outpatients
• Conduct clinics in rural hospitals
• Perform a variety of endoscopic procedures, including colonoscopies and upper endoscopies

The main hospital is a 260-bed secondary general hospital with a full range of medical and surgical services including a 24/7 emergency department. It supports three small satellite hospitals across the Northland region of the North Island of New Zealand. The area of Northland is a forested, subtropical region on New Zealand's North Island, framed by the Pacific Ocean and Tasman Sea. A subtropical wonderland of islands, marine life, kauri forests, and Māori myths and legends, Northland is an incredible place to live. Requirements:

• FRACP or equivalent qualification
• Eligible for vocational registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand

Remuneration and Benefits:

• Attractive salary package, ranging from $200,000 to $350,000 per annum
