LocationIntroductionAga Khan University, chartered in 1983 as Pakistan's first private international university, is committed to the provision of education, research and health care of international standard relevant to Pakistan and the region. The affiliated Aga Khan University Hospital has well-equipped investigative services and provides state-of-the-art clinical facilities.

Since 1985, the Medical College has had an animal facility to house rodents and rabbits for teaching and research purposes. Following an internal review, this facility was transferred to the Dean of Research and Graduate Studies in 2012. The Animal Facility works on the 3Rs principle i.e. Replacement, Refinement and Reduction, for ethical use of animals in research.

This is a grant-funded contractual position.

ResponsibilitiesYou will be responsible to:

maintain records of occupational health screening forms

maintain records of individual people's data while safeguarding confidentiality

coordinate occupational health and safety process flow for each application

provide ready access to all data for the supervisor

prepare progress reports for the supervisor and designated Institutional official

manage and respond to occupational health and safety-related emails

attend and present data in meetings on occupational health and safety

support development and delivery of occupational health and safety related training.

RequirementsYou should have:

a Master's degree, or equivalent from an HEC recognized or reputable foreign university. However, a qualification related to Occupational Health and Safety would be preferred

at least two years of relevant work experience

proficiency in MS Office applications, procurement software, inventory management, database development and maintenance

ability to work independently
