Inviting applications for the role of Forecasting Planner (office Katowice, Poland) Responsibilities
Ensure statistical / sensed forecasts are created for the whole of their portfolio considering demand drivers at the agreed hierarchy level
Research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, and evaluate forecast performance
Monitor and report on specific KPIs (e.g., forecast accuracy, forecast BIAS, MAPE, forecast value add) at multiple levels and lags and provide insights on contributing factors and improvement opportunities
Monitor performance of assigned portfolio, team capabilities, tools & techniques
For new product introductions, analyze proposal of like-SKU and collaborate with Demand Planners to generate the initial forecasts, additionally consider cannibalization impacts
Optimize and tune statistical forecasts, updating system parameters after conducting the necessary analysis to identify improvement opportunities
Track and monitor changes to allow for continuous improvement
Qualifications we seek in you! • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain management, applied math or other relevant degree • Strong understand of at least advanced planning systems and its functionality, e.g. Kinaxis, o9 Solutions • Knowledge of ERP functionality, experience with SAP / Oracle / JDE an asset. • Demonstrated experience in Forecasting (Statistical Techniques, Collaboration Scenario Modeling, Parameters modeling)• Strong analytical skills • Exceptional drive, excellent interpersonal skills and effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing, with the ability to immediately contribute in a collaborative team environment • An ability to manage multiple priorities and perform well in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining a high level of client focus • Strong work ethic and high attention to detail, with a desire to learn What can we offer? • Attractive salary • Stable job offers - employment contract • Work in a multicultural and diverse environment with employees from over 30 countries • Genpact supports professional trainings and great career development opportunities • Free access to our award-winning learning platform
