Job Responsibilities: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales and Business Development Manager to lead our efforts in the MEA region for our solar modules & BESS division. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing new business opportunities, and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients. This role requires a deep understanding of the solar energy market, exceptional sales skills, and the ability to develop strategic partnerships. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Strategy and Execution: - Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for solar modules & BESS in the MEA region. - Achieve sales targets and KPIs as set by the Regional Head. - Identify new business opportunities and market segments to expand our market presence.
  2. Business Development: - Identify, initiate, and manage new business relationships with potential clients, distributors, and partners, including all the EPC, IPP’s and the utilities. - Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and opportunities in the solar energy sector. - Develop and present business proposals, contracts, and agreements to potential clients and partners.
  3. Client Relationship Management (KAM): - Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and retention. - Provide exceptional customer service and address client queries and issues promptly.
  4. Market Analysis and Reporting: - Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes in the MENA region. - Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market analysis, and business development activities for senior management.
  5. Collaboration and Coordination: - Work closely with the technical, marketing, and product development teams to ensure alignment of sales strategies with overall company goals. - Coordinate with the operations team to ensure timely delivery and installation of products.
Qualifications:
  1. - Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
  2. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales and business development, in the renewable energy sector.
  3. - Strong knowledge of the solar energy market in the MEA region.
  4. - Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  5. - Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  6. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  7. - Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
  8. - Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
