Be ready to make your mark at a top company, in an exciting and dynamic industry.Job DescriptionThe candidate will work as an analytical professional in the Finance Transformation & Business Strategy team under group finance and will be responsible for effective delivery of projects, possessing technical expertise in data analytics, insights, and reporting.Develop specific, customized reports and data visualizations, and conduct ad-hoc analyses by directly involving in the technical build-out and support of databases, query tools, reporting tools, BI tools, etc., through data compilation and data mining from multiple, cross-business sources.Use data modeling techniques to bring cohesion to unstructured and semi-structured data.Ensure adherence to data management and data governance regulations and policies.Apply knowledge of business, customers, and/or products/services/portfolios to synthesize data to 'form a story' and align information to contrast/compare to industry perspectives.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:Generic AccountabilityCollect strategic data and design, engineer, and document complex data infrastructures.Devise and code novel algorithms from scratch to help manage the data analytics and machine learning process.Possess consultative skills to rationalize business needs and solution design from business requirements.Interact with integrity and a high level of professionalism with all levels of team members and management.Handle end-to-end analytical projects starting from problem structuring, solution design, deep-dive research, and final outcome delivery.Specific AccountabilityDevelop a deep understanding of technical systems and business processes to extract data-driven insights while identifying opportunities.Identify and define business requirements and translate data and business needs into research and recommendations to improve efficiency.Clearly understand and articulate business requirements by leveraging domain understanding of line of business and product/function and deliver results that underline the business problem and appropriate business decision levers.Lead and participate in all cross-group projects, including the design and implementation of database structures, analytics software, storage, and processing.Perform analysis, build hypotheses, draw conclusions, and communicate clear, actionable recommendations to business leaders and partners.Assess the feasibility of AI/ML solutions for business processes and outcomes.QualificationsBachelor's or Master's degree in engineering fields like computer science, information technology, or M.Sc./M.Phil in statistics, mathematics, or operations research.Experience in developing and implementing the following models:Statistical models - linear regression, logistic regression, time series analysis, multivariate statistical analysisMachine learning modelsExposure to deep learning frameworks and natural language processing.Hands-on knowledge in one or more Big Data skills like SQL, Aster, Teradata, Hadoop, SPARK, H2O, Big Query.8+ years of core banking experience in areas involving financial accounting and management reporting, with moderate level expertise in regulatory reporting in the financial sector.Strong technical competency in technology, reporting, and business intelligence frameworks.Experience in Power BI, SQL, Big Data platforms, and financial modeling frameworks.Strong analytical and quantitative skills, critical thinking, investigative problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.Good understanding of business, data, and systems architecture, and knowledge of key systems and engines used in the finance industry such as SAP, Oracle, Bloomberg, and Moody's analytics.Experience working with management to establish effective models and reports.Must have exposure to Data Lakes, Azure, Big Data platforms, and sound knowledge in project documentation frameworks, coupled with capability in multi-programming languages, primarily Python and R, and possibly others depending on the need.
