As the Director of Strategy in our PR practice, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering effective PR and communications strategies that drive success for our clients. You will lead a team ofskilled PR professionals, collaborating closely with clients to understand their objectives and develop innovative strategies that align with their goals. You'll be expected to develop partnership relationshipswith our clients, establishing credibility and becoming a trusted adviser. Whatever the brief, you'll focus on client business and brand objectives, being aware of industry and technology trends to support them.Reporting to BPG's President, UAE, you'll work closely with cross-functional teams that may include brand and CX strategists, data analysts, creatives, media, social, experience design, events, andtechnical deployment.ResponsibilitiesThis person will need to have the personality and presence to make a big impact with clients, but also the agency.You will be required to work across a wide range of subject areas, and at times stretch your comfort level in a supportive and dynamic team.Lead the development of comprehensive PR and communications strategies that meet clients' business objectives and target audiences.Oversee the development of PR plans, messaging frameworks, and content strategies to support client campaigns.Advocate for delivering 'new PR' in a connected digital age. Work with our CX and Data teams to bring this to life in strategies, tools, processes, and content.Utilize data, research, and industry insights to inform strategy creation and optimize campaign effectiveness.Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and measurement frameworks to evaluate the success of PR and communications strategies.Author and deliver new business presentations, strategy white-papers, and thought leadership within the PR space.Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact for strategy-related discussions.Manage and mentor a team of PR professionals, providing guidance, support, and career development opportunities.Foster a collaborative and creative work environment that encourages the growth and success of team members.RequirementsTraits• A passion for creativity, experimentation, and innovation.• Desire to work in a highly collaborative environment.• A strong strategic mindset.• Clear and persuasive communication is key to success in this role.• A genuine passion for learning and staying current with industry trends is critical for long-term success.Ideal Experience8-10 years minimum of relevant experience with at least 2-3 years agency-side experience.Past experience at managing a young and multi-disciplinary team.Strong presentation development and storytelling skills. Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization.Experience with performance/media concepts and execution.Strong verbal and written communication skills.An entrepreneurial mindset, with an excellent ability to identify tangible opportunities.Exceptional collaboration skills and the ability to draw on them in challenging situations.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively build consensus.Experience working on projects that cross into multiple disciplines.A bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university.Nationality / Linguistic agnostic.To applyPlease send your CV to careers@bpggroup.com mentioning the role in the email subject.
