We are recruiting a experienced professional *Dispatcher/Planner* to join our Calgary team, you'll play a pivotal role in driving our operational efficiency and provide quality professional transportation service for our valued customers. *Job Responsibilities*: · Collaborate effectively with all team members in dispatch and transportation to achieve daily objectives. · Responsible for monitoring loads and trucks in a specific geography prioritizing and planning power to move loads to destination ·Ensure all orders and trip events are recorded in the TMW and system is update in an accurate and timely fashion. ·Ensure the Company meets all customers requirements, and any changes are communicated immediately. · Ensure that the assigned loads are confirmed with each driver prior to the completion of the work day. · Confirm loads have been delivered or re-booked if needed and all safety and service incidents are reported to management. · Follow up with drivers who are late with their loads and resolve any issues they may encounter. · Respond to customer and drivers communication via Satellite, email, phone, and messaging to resolve issues in an expedited manner. · Ensure that drivers are submitting paperwork to the office team within 24 hours of delivery. · Comply with established company policies and procedures, and Occupational Health and Safety regulations. · Provide drivers with all necessary paperwork to complete deliveries. ·Listen to all driver concerns and act on them appropriately. · Maintain a safe and clean work environment. ·Service failure reports are recorded in TMW and brought to the attention of the Branch Manager or designate. *Job Qualifications/Requirements:*· Related experience : 2-5 years · Working knowledge of TMW Systems/Load Link are considered an asset. · General knowledge of the Transportation industry. · Sense of urgency and responsive to changes in a timely and efficient manner · Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written. · Strong computer, organizational, and analytical skills. · Candidates with TMW experience will be given preference. ·Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment · Post Secondary education (transportation) an asset · High school diploma (required · Proven ability to deal productively and professionally with internal and external customers.
