Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates | Posted on 11/10/2019 · Develop improved production and completion strategies, workover plansaimed at enhancing production. · Analyse performance of existing wells / reservoirs & potentialdevelopment concepts and recommend alternative Improved Recovery Options toenhance production & maximize recovery. · Apply integrated approach involving geoscience, reservoir management,drilling & completion to properly assess wells / reservoirs performance,identify potential risks and uncertainties, develop mitigation actionsincluding: optimization of wells locations, numbers, architectures andcompletion designs · Design pilots / appraisal wells and data acquisition plans required toreduce risks and uncertainties and narrow down development options. Includebusiness case for pilot implementation & data acquisition based on 'valueof information'. · Design & analyses of SCAL / PVT laboratory studies. · Participate in integrated reservoir characterization studies. Evaluateand optimize development schemes. Use fundamental reservoir engineeringtechniques and integrate dynamic and static data to optimize sweep efficiency. · Supervise / Conduct single well and sector model studies for performanceevaluation of different completion designs & recovery processes. GeneralAccountabilities: Supervision · Plan, supervise and coordinate all activities in the assigned area tomeet functional objectives. · Train and develop the assigned staff on relevant skills to enable them tobecome proficient on the job and deliver the respective section objectives. Budgets · Provide input for preparation of the Department/ Section budgets andassist in the implementation of the approved Budget and work plans to deliverSection objectives. · Investigate and highlight any significant variances to support effectiveperformance and cost control. · Implement approved Department / Section policies, processes, systems,standards and procedures in order to support execution of the Department / Section'swork programs in line with Company and International standards. · Comply with all applicable legislation and legal regulations. Performance Management · Contribute to the achievement of the approved Performance Objectives forthe Department / Section in line with the Company Performance framework. Innovation and Continuous Improvement · Design and implement new tools and techniques to improve the quality andefficiency ofoperational processes. · Identify improvements in internal processes against best practices inpursuit of greater efficiency in line with ISO standards in order to defineintelligent solutions for issues confronting the function. Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) and Sustainability · Comply with relevant HSE policies, procedures & controls andapplicable legislation and sustainability guidelines in line with internationalstandards, best practices and client Code of Practices Reports · Provide inputs to prepare Section MIS and progress reports for CompanyManagement Skill set Minimum Qualification•Bachelor Degree Petroleum Engineering.Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills•15 years of experience in field development activities, simulation studies, Well Reservoir and Management, new technology assessment to enhance productionProfessional Certifications •Course certificates from core area of Reservoir Engineering
