Associate/Team Leader Fire & Life Safety Design Engineer Sector M.E.P Building Services Employment Type Permanent Location Dubai Job Ref NBLSDE7 Job IntroductionWe are actively seeking a Senior/Fire & Life Safety Design Engineer to join a leading Consulting Engineering organisation based in Dubai.The company are a major player in the construction design world and are UK based by origin.One of the key roles in making sure that a building's fire protection not only comply with the relevant legislation, but also provide a safe environment in the most cost-effective manner, without compromising the architectural integrity of the overall building design.The Fire Safety Engineering team's expertise in the design and development of fire safety solutions is well known throughout the industry and as a team we offer a pro-active and collaborative approach to skill development, and professional excellence. This is a leadership role and the successful candidate will be expected to develop the regional team and service offering to existing and new clients.Key Purpose of the Role You will take responsibility for all the design of fire and life safety solutions, to NFPA & UK Standards, including:- Planning and concept design feasibility studies Advanced Fire Safety Design to NFPA & UK standards Fire Strategy Drawings Evacuation strategies and modelling software Smoke Management & modelling software You should be educated to Degree level in a relevant discipline, either be of Chartered status or working towards this and fully up-to-date with the relevant design software.
